How to Make Your Baby Happy and Healthy!


Hello, moms-to-be! I can't wait to share my pregnancy stories (I've had five healthy pregnancies and children, praise be to God!) and all the helpful tips I've picked up along the road. Being a mother is an amazing journey that starts with a healthy pregnancy.

30 Healthy Tips During Pregnancy


1. Fill Your Diet With Nutrients


Feed your growing baby a meal full of nutrients. Make sure that your meals contain a wide range of fresh fruits, colorful veggies, lean proteins, whole grains, and healthy fats. Give up artificial foods and choose natural, healthy ones instead.


During my first pregnancy, I fell in love with smoothies for the first time. One of my favorites was a tasty blend of banana, spinach, Greek yogurt, a little honey, and a pinch of cinnamon. It not only satisfied my hunger, but it also gave my baby the vitamins and minerals she needed to grow.


2. Take in Tons of Water


A healthy pregnancy depends on staying hydrated. Try to drink 8 glasses of water every day. Staying hydrated helps with digestion and blood flow, and it keeps typical pregnancy problems like constipation and swelling from happening. You can make your water taste better by putting pieces of cucumber, lemon, or berries in it.


3. Engage in Gentle Exercise


Walk, swim, or do pregnant yoga, which are all low-impact ways to stay active. Regular exercise can help you stay fit, sleep better, and feel better during pregnancy.




During my pregnancy, my best thing to do was to walk in the park every day. Getting some fresh air and light exercise helped me calm down and feel closer to my growing baby.


4. Pay Attention to Your Body


During pregnancy, a woman's feelings and body go through a lot of changes. Pay attention to what your body tells you and get the rest you need. Don't be afraid to ask for help with chores and errands around the house.


5. Take Prenatal Vitamins


Prenatal vitamins are important to ensure that your baby gets all the nutrients it needs, even if you follow a healthy diet. Getting enough folic acid, iron, calcium, and omega-3 fatty acids is very important during pregnancy.


Setting a daily note on my phone helped me take my prenatal vitamins every day, so I didn't miss a single one.


6. Prioritize Sleep


Your health and your baby's growth depend on getting enough sleep. Spend money on a good pregnancy pillow and find a way to sleep that feels good to you.


7. Make a Place Where You Can Relax


Make a calm place for yourself to reduce stress. Try meditating, practicing deep breathing, or taking a warm bath with calming essential oils.


8. Attend Regular Prenatal Checkups


It's important to get regular pregnancy checkups so you can track your baby's growth and make sure everything is going well. Use these times to talk to your healthcare worker about any questions or worries you may have.


9. Get a Good Education in Mommy 101


Knowledge is a source of power! You can learn about pregnancy and childbirth by reading books and going to prenatal classes. Knowing what to expect will give you more confidence as you get closer to giving birth.


10. Avoid Harmful Substances


Avoid drinking, smoking, and using recreational drugs during pregnancy because they can hurt the growth of your unborn child. Limit how much coffee you drink and ask your doctor or nurse what the safe limit is.


11. Surround Yourself With People Who Can Help You


Ask your friends and family for help, or join a pregnancy support group in your area. During this time, it can be very comforting and helpful to talk to other moms-to-be about your experiences and get their tips.


12. Take Care of Yourself


When you're pregnant, you should have fun and take care of yourself. Give yourself a prenatal massage, get a new haircut, or spend quality time doing things you love.


13. Get Ready for the Baby’s Birth


As your due date gets closer, set up a comfortable nursery, get the things you'll need for the baby, and learn how to care for a child. Having a sense of readiness will ease worries and make the change to Mom easier.


14. Use Safe Beauty and Skin Care Products


During pregnancy, you should be careful with your skincare and beauty items. Some chemicals could be harmful to you or your baby. If you want to avoid dangerous chemicals, choose natural and organic products.


15. Enjoy the Journey of Pregnancy


Enjoy every step of your journey through pregnancy. Take pictures and write in a book to remember this amazing time when you were growing a life inside of you.


16. Address Pregnancy Ailments


Some of the most common problems during pregnancy are morning sickness, heartburn, and backaches. Eat a few crackers before you get out of bed to stop feeling sick in the morning. If you have heartburn, avoid hot and greasy foods. Backaches can be helped by wearing shoes with good support and doing pregnant yoga.

17. Get Closer to Your Partner


Bring your partner along on the journey of your pregnancy. Talk about how you feel, take prenatal classes together, and go to ultrasound visits together as a team. This will make your relationship stronger and give you lasting memories.


18. Pack Your Bag for the Hospital


As your due date gets closer, pack your hospital bag with things like comfy clothes, toiletries, snacks, and things for the baby. Having peace of mind when labor starts will come from being ready.


19. Stay Upbeat and Try to Be Mindful


During pregnancy, hormones can have an impact on feelings. Mindfulness methods, like meditation and deep breathing, can help you stay calm and happy. Put up positive words and affirmations all around you.


20. Plan For Postpartum Care


Plan to get help after giving birth, whether it's from family, friends, or a professional. Stock up on healthy, easy-to-make meals for the first few days after giving birth, when you might not have as much time or energy.


21. Write Down Your Memories


Take pictures and keep a journal about your pregnancy. Keeping track of your baby's growth and how you feel about it will give you cherished memories to look back on in the future.


22. Go With Your Gut


You'll get a lot of advice as a new mom. Even if they mean well, remember that you know your body and your baby better than anyone else. Trust your gut and make decisions that make sense for you and your baby.


23. Deal With Stress and Worry
